Should I join lyrical and/or hip hop? (pro's & cons)?

You can most likely catch onto hip hop better than lyrical, if having no expirience at all prior to the class. Hip hop is more of an upbeat, mellow, let loose style, whereas lyrical has to be maintained and controlled. If you don't have the flexiblity and technique, you can't really pull it off to make it look good. With lyrical you may want some classes involving ballet to prep you, as far as technique goes. If you have the musical sense, than hip hop would be your best bet. Hip hop will always be fun, so I'd say do that!
