How do I get my youtube account back in good standing?

It's my first copyright strike but I'm nervous because I don't want one on my account. I have close to 100,000 views from my videos and I want to be partners with them one day. I can't have any strikes to be a partner. Please help me. How do I get rid of the strike? And yes, the video I used wasn't mine, the whole video was someone elses.
