I don't want to worship a god that commands infants to be killed "by the sword." Why do I need another reason?

I wish christians and all followers of the Abrahamic god(s) could see the violence and human traits of a supposed omnipotent god creator. It makes no sense to follow a deity so vile, egocentric and vengeful.
