Where can I download the recent patch for battlefield 2142 that works?

I just recently came across my battlefield 2142 disc and would like to play online. I know there's a new patch out for it that includes Norther Strike, but every time I download the file from the site, it messes up my computer. I downloaded the files from this link http://blogs.battlefield.ea.com/battlefield_bad_company/archive/2011/01/17/battlefield-2142-1-51-beta-patch-extended.aspx## I contacted EA and they have not responded back to me (this was a couple days ago) So, I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue, and if there is a way to get the update that works...
