I am TERRIBLE at picking up choreography, Im scared to make a fool of myself :( please help?

Haha that's how I am too I remember watching myself on video of my freshmen choreography and thinking, "am I mental?" that's how bad I looked. Then I asked the coach if I could bring a video camera to practice to tape the dance. I went home and watched my dance and practiced it making sure ik what I was doing. ( I taped it from behind so that I wouldnt get messed up with my lefts and rights.) after practicing it many times I came back to the next practice and knew the dance a lot better. From then on Ive taped every new choreography and have picked up on it a bit quicker then the last time. Hope this helps!
