Since No.10 Downing Street says the Public service strike was a flop, should they accept the pension reforms?

They said it was a flop because they could hardly say anything else. It passed off peacefully and they could not make the usual accusations of hooliganism and bully-boy tactics. At the same time, Mr Gove's invincible army of parent strike-breakers failed to materialise. There has been almost a news blackout on the subject today, which rather suggests it was a success.
